The Official TSLC IronKids Phuket Championship race is on the 1st December 2012.

Are you ready for the 2012 TSLC IronKids Phuket Series? There have been quite a few changes and updates to the webpages so please have a look through the website for 2012 race dates and training schedules. The race is now open to all children from the ages 6 to 17 yrs. We are looking forward to seeing you and your friends at the IronKids races. For current updates, please join us on the facebook page, and feel free to post your comments, photos and races you are doing this year. If you have not already, you can also sign up for our newsletters which we will email once a month.

Thanyapura Sports & Leisure Club's (TSLC) partnership with IronKids will include four events each year in Phuket with a number of professionally led training camps run throughout the year, and will be known as TSLC IronKids Phuket.

The tropical island of Phuket is fast becoming a mecca for professional and amateur triathletes with world-class triathlons and training camps being offered on the island every year. Phuket has a proven track record for hosting major sporting events, such as the Laguna Phuket Triathlon, Phuket International Marathon and the FIVB Women's Beach Volleyball World Tour.

TSLC has the ideal facilities and surroundings to host events and training camps for professional or amateur triathletes, as well as young athletes tackling their first ever multi-sport event. Our 50m and 25m pools offer ideal swimming conditions, while the quiet roads are perfect for young cyclists to learn biking skills. Most running is done on the property or on surrounding tracks in the National Park area. This spectacular location is set to become the "home" of triathlon for young, upcoming triathletes.

The groundbreaking Thanyapura Sports and Leisure Club (TSLC) is Asia's newest pre-eminent competition, training and event venue. TSLC's elite sporting facilities include:

ABOUT IRONKIDS USA

World Triathlon Corporation acquired IronKids in 2007 from the Sara Lee Corporation that owned the event series since 1985. IronKids' events have seen more than 40,000 participants in its history. In its inaugural year, the IronKids National Triathlon Series hosted nine races, including a U.S. National Championship event in Tucson, Ariz., for youth ranging from 6 to 15 years of age. In 2010, the series saw growth domestically as well as globally, with international licensed events taking place throughout Europe and Asia-Pacific.
